@@jmong1638 PIP has stayed the same, only threes went up. League average in 2pt is about 30 since 2011 and also the same as today, league average in 3pt is 8 in 2011 and 13 today, so it's more high paced driving now than stagnant post plays, with the added volume of threes taken account with more possessions. And shooting this volume of threes is NOT awful. Awful to watch for you, that's understandable, but the league average of 36% in threes stayed the same throughout the years, so it essentially means the quality of threes didn't change when increasing it, so why not increase it? Statistically it will continue to go up until the point where quality goes down and % starts to go down, and from there we'll see the peak of attempts of 3pt where quality is not sacrificed, unless there are changes in the 3pt line. The issue of adjusting threes is changing something that existed for years. While I advocate on removing the corners because this is an effective way of crowding the angles a 3pt can be made, we're essentially changing the game. It disrupts the historical continuity of the game, but it's not entirely absurd as 3pts didn't exist once.

@@Jameel-n2l Doesn't matter. Harden doesn't become Harden if he doesn't get traded, but Harden as the 3rd man on OKC would've made them a powerhouse years later. They basically struggled to find that tertiary offensive player which is where a lot of their shortcomings (on top of injuries) came from

In the clutch time harden had the ball and was the facilitator of the ball, he knew how to slow things down and knew how to run the clock atleast. The one possession Russ had the ball he turned it over. This just goes to show Russ was never met to be the sole point guard and playmaker of the team in 2016 wcf or 2014. He is best when he is playing with another point guard who can make plays down the stretch.

If OKC had kept KD, Russ and Harden together they would have won multiple championships and become a dynasty. That Harden trade is arguably the stupidest trade in the history of pro sports. I still can't believe Presti traded him. The Warriors never would have happened. OKC would have been kicking their ass every single year in the Western conference finals. That single trade completely changed the history of the NBA.
