Why avoid the officiating issue? The national media certainly isn't going to come to OKC's defense, so if the beat writers that follow the Thunder aren't willing to call this obvious bias out then who is? That aggregeous offensive goaltending called on Hartenstein could have cost the Thunder this win. The calls on Dort, the non calls when the Thunder are fouled at the rim are all going unchallenged and it's not helped by ignoring the issue. It's not as if the numbers don't add up, they do, glaringly so. It's a legitimate story, write about it.

I am definitely happy with Ihart defense against AD usually when we play he’s ultra aggressive and I love Chet but Ihart is 250 and none of that AD bully ball worked.

We still must remember this is a precocious roster, Shai and IHart at 26 being the old men, and that we are integrating 3 new pieces on the floor. Now a realistic question is if Sam will gamble on a wing shooter.

Price, bro, what's the price? We go after a player, the price goes up. We aren't in desperate need, no need to go looking. Let them come to us, we're in the position of strength. If we don't trade, we save draft picks and cheap rookie contracts and a good rotation piece or two, plus we'd have to re-train him to our system. How many games are we prepared to sacrifice to make him fit our team concept with little practice time? This isn't fantasy ball, pieces have to fit. We have the picks to choose who we want in the draft and develop them within our system. Let Sam have some elbow room, for Pete's sake.
