I actually don’t think OKC will win the west this year I haven’t seen anybody besides SGA step up in playoffs. I hope I’m wrong but Dallas should be the favorite assuming everyone is healthy

Trading away a talent like KAT for Julius is a very Minnesota timberwolve thing to do. I understand why, but it was a fatal error. Hopefully they can build/ rebuild around Ant, but they’re very far behind now.

@@Fpslaith well yeah I know it’s because they are young. But I want to see it. I wanted to see it in the NBA Cup final but didn’t…. It isn’t a knock on OKC. I hope I’m wrong and they kill it. But until they do it, I’d put my money on Dallas with Luka who has won the western conference twice and has more depth than I’ve ever seen on a Luka team

Thanks for the show. I enjoyed it. One of the craziest stats for OKC this year is that they have more steals than they have turnovers. This is unheard of. They lead the league in most steals and fewest turnovers.

Thunder fan here. That 3rd quarter may have been their best quarter of the season. The Thunder are the only team in the league with more steals than turnovers. Before tonight’s game, they have 365 steals and 364 turnovers for a +1 steals to turnover ratio. The next closet team is the Heat who have 269 steals and 405 turnovers, for a -136 steals to turnover ratio. And OKC doesn’t even have a healthy Chet or Caruso. 👀

Since Hartenstein started playing, OKC are 16-2, and one loss doesn't even count because it was the NBA cup, so they are technically 16-1 since they got him. I want to see how they do the rotations and lineups whenever Chet is back.

If the Thunder are looking to improve the team without disrupting what they already have, I think that Dieng, Topic and Jones are the pieces to move. Dieng has had three years to figure it out and still isn't seeing the court much. Topic and Jones are young and could turn out to be very good players, but OKC's window is open now.

6:30 surely we can't be serious right? OKC is 27th on FTA per game, and if you watch Thunder games SGA gets most of his FTA during times when teams are fouling at the end of the game. He's averaging under 8 FTA per game while averaging almost 22 DRIVES PER GAME! End the narrative of OKC or SGA being free throw merchants.

If everything remains the same, if the NBA cup is an indication, OKC will not make it to the NBA finals. "If everything remains the same" - no injuries, no trades. Offensively, OKC is dominated by one player, an ankle tweak on this one guy and that's it for title aspiration. Is OKC in a win now mode? Not exactly. They can ride their young core and a lot of draft assets to create a dynasty. But, if they are in a win now mode, they surely have a lot of assets to trade for another superstar next to SGA. For example, Phoenix like Sacramento is not in the play-in at this juncture. What would it take to get Kevin Durant, a proven champion to OKC? "If the NBA cup is an indication" - A limping Milwaukee dominated OKC. That tells you, it would take more than SGA to get OKC to the finals. That top rank OKC defense would not be enough to get them to the finals.
