There are thousands of people doing the exact same thing and after ten years they became insolvent or hardly can pay rent. So this is not about how to do something right. It is about how Paul has the karma to become rich. Karma to become rich means that in your past life you did good things for other people. So it just happens miraculously. If Paul would have opened a food store he would also be a billionaire right now. It is not about that he did this and that. The question is of course, whether this is the goal of life, to become rich? A life in luxury lasts for maybe twenty, or thirty years or maybe fifty years and when we leave we can't take anything with us.

That’s the thing. Not everyone Can do this, because not everyone wants to be wrong with how they handle their life. Pride will hold you down like a professional wrestler. Millions of people can hear this advice, but how many people can admit they are living the wrong way and come to accept that they will not be miserable. The old saying you have to spend money to make money is painfully true and most people find it too scary to spend big or small on something that make yield absolutely nothing. You got to think things through and you have to be open to suffering, and you have to be able to stand back up after a huge blow/commit to a sinking ship in hopes it can make it back to land. Regardless business risky and I’m not above calling it gambling. Playing it safe is why most people will stick to their safe factory jobs but these jobs sap energy, and usually the safety will prevent trying risky things because all that hard work for the small bag could disappear at one wrong move and they will have to start all over again with the shitty work life balance they really don’t want to do

I was trained at a south Jersey Kinkos (Mt Laurel) then moved to Prescott, AZ for college. I didn't have a place to stay or job when I pulled into town. Last yr companies couldn't get enough people so they gv 3 & 4 an hr raises, they still don't care. If you're 18 or even 30 without an education or ambition you're going to work for someone. Why not show loyalty and hopefully be rewarded with promotions etc. So few think like that. Cool if you hv drive to do something else. Most try to live off their parents forever.

the ending comments were his best. 100% agree with the idea of success being defined by our children wanting to spend time with us in the end. we should also look after ourselves so that they can do that with us in a reasonably good way. i was on a walk with my 8yo boy (i am 50yo) today when he exclaimed his enjoyment and gratefulness for our moment together, and as i recount that now, it sinks in just a bit deeper on how important it is to build those moments with our children. it's what builds the foundation for their future. i fear we're living in times where we have allowed ourselves to become disconnected from this importance. i continue to struggle with being present to this.

It really made no sense to me when he said ''It doesn't matter whether I'm right or wrong, whether the market goes up and down. I'm good regardless''. People are really losing a sh*t ton of money out here. I personally have been buying stocks since the beginning of the year and yet nothing's changed, but I've been reading articles of people still in the same market pulling off over 350k in just a couple months. Sometimes, the strategies to stay on constant green in a downturn markets are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. Matter of fact, they are most successfully carried out by experts who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge of the market. Maybe you should hire one.

I graduated with a graphic design degree and we had almost no computer training. That year (1986) I spent nearly every overnight renting computer time on the tiny original mac computers at Kinkos just learning and doing ads, art, etc. They were open 24 hrs and the guys were always helpful to answer questions. I learned much more that year, was always an avid Kinko's fan till he sold. It was completely different after Fedex. Good for him although all those first employees/managers should have gained because they were the front face of each store. Did they get a large payout? (ok, listening now, maybe he did!)
