"Seek, and you will find" -Matthew 7:7 (Never mind my lil sense of humour by this quotation) A lot of our (Yoruba, even other tribes) songs are being performed regularly in the western world now. Sometimes the choirs performing them are entirely non Africans. Several examples are here on KZbin. Ayo Oluranti's songs Seun Owoaje's songs Ayo Bankole's (Snr) songs Fela Sowande's songs. Etc are regularly performed over there. Several Africa's Choral groups especially from Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa tour Europe often to perform our traditional music on invitations by the Europeans most times. MFM Choral group too performs in Europe a lot. It appears the Europeans are embracing our songs passionately more than us sef. Several Churches over there sing our songs most Sundays too.

Olawale Oluwatobi is correct, and it's rooted in Zechariah 4:7 "‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!"
