Okie-Tex 2014

Video of the Okie-Tex star party near Kenton, OK. More images of the nightly setup than last years event. Storm systems from a Pacific hurricane remnant from the south threatened the skies all week. It was clear on most of the nights, but a little windy during the week of the event. My astro-images taken during this event are at the end of this video. The last image here is of the Perseus galaxy cluster, a 9 panel mosaic, 50 minutes total exposure time for each panel. More than a total of 24 hours of exposures over 7 nights of viable images done with my telescope at this event.

Usually it is 20 minutes luminance exposure and 10 minutes each for RGB filtered exposures. Monochrome camera designed for astronomical use with filters. Programs used for astro-imaging acquisition and processing + Photoshop used.
