the japanese by the end of the war were pretty kamicrazy XD no but seriously they had tons of suicide units beside the kamikaze planes they had suicide boats to crash into us ships, suicide subs, suicide scuba divers, they would have had civilians to act as suicide squads running at us soldiers with bamboo spears and bombs so they could leap under us tanks, basically an invasion of japan would have put battles at Tarawa, iwo jima, and even Okinawa to shame no one is certain just how many us soldiers would have been killed but some estimates put us casualties at well over 1 million and there was talk of using chemical, and tactical nuclear weapons fun fact 500,000 purple hearts were made in anticipation of high numbers of wounded, sense it never happened we are STILL giving out purple hearts from them to wounded soldiers to this day the japanese were running out of guns and ammo so all they really had left was to throw themselves at the enemy, literally so estimations of japanese casualties were..... high

The Marine in the middle of the first Banzai charge with the sub MG was clearly Chesty Puller. Everyone else went down on the Right flank and he just fired away without pause. He did not question, his was to do or die!

IJA tanks are trash. The Type 3 was the best they could produce in any quantity (~150) none of which were used because the war ended. It was made to counter the Sherman, of which _over 49,000_ were built. The Scouter works just fine, thanks for asking. Oh, and they have no heavy tanks. None. The IJA was doctrinally, numerically, logistically and technologically inferior when it came to armoured warfare. The Soviets were to demonstrate this when they invaded Mongolia and delivered one of the greatest curbstomb campaigns of military history.
