Wrong. This has no mention of the bombs strapped to columns that the first resonders and the media were working all day to remove. "?" How did McVeigh get the bombs on the columns in a federal building? It appears in an attempt to make it look like the truck did it, they delayed the sequence having the column closest to the truck explode first but some how that made the other bomb disconnect from the trigger man. They couldn't stop the media & the first resonders that day but since then the spin doctors have played a propaganda, down the memory hole game!

Just in case people were wondering why there are chairs at the memorial. There are 168 chairs to represent all that had died, the smaller chairs represent the children that were killed. Chairs were chosen to represent the lives lost to remind us that there will always be a chair empty for the 168 families that were affected by this event.

Terry Nichols was the bomb maker, and the one that taught McVeigh how cause maximum damage with certain ingredients used, yet McVeigh gets death, and Nichols life. Wasn't this a joint attack? Only difference is, that McVeigh drove and parked the truck outside the federal building. Building the bomb is just as guilty as detonating it i'd say.

I'm from Oklahoma and was in school that day. The whole place basically shut down and the entire faculty and all of the students stayed glued to the TV screen until school finally let out. We didn't even change classes or anything, we just remained in whatever room we were in when the news started covering the story and sack lunches were brought to us. The lights in the classroom were turned off, the TV was on, and footage of a bombing in my home state was playing less than ten feet away from me. I remember every single moment of that day despite only being ten years old, but the memory that stands out the most is seeing the firefighter carrying Baylee Almon and knowing that a baby had been killed. Nineteen children were killed in the daycare and I've never really gotten over that, so I can't even fathom what the people directly affected went through -- and what they've never really gotten over.

This was one of my earliest memories. I was 4 when this happened and I remember my parents driving me to the city and seeing the scene. I remember all the news coverage that day, throughout the investigation and for years after during Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols trials, all the way to McVeigh’s execution. I remember going to the memorial for a class field trip in 5th grade and I think that was the first time I ever felt sadness like that. There is one part where they put you in a room with the lights on and you listen to the recording from the beginning of this video, then when the bomb goes off in the recording, the lights shut off and a few seconds later, all the faces of the victims pop up on the big screen in front of us. Even to this day, it gives me chills to think about how that affected me. It’s a beautiful memorial and definitely worth a stop if you’re ever in town. I was about 7ish when this happened. Still to this day, I have the fire fighter carrying a deceased child stuck in my memory. I do not understand to this day why children are targeted. Why? School shootings, mass shootings and etc. None of this is ok. And yes, I lived through October 1st.

There was a building almost identical to this one that got bombed in the early 1980's and the blast was similar. I wondered if there was a bomber or terrorist group had anything to do with the building posted here or not.👋

I used to live in Oklahoma city as a toddler, somewhere else Tulsa maybe. Both my parents have passed so I can't ask questions. Born in 1992, I went to the daycare there with my older sister. We were taken out 2 weeks before the bombing. I think I have the VHS tape of my dad filming and my mom driving in circles showing the damage, I hope I still have it. Edit: I remember watching the video my dad filmed and not recognizing he didn't show my perspective. Now I know I have actual memories as a 4 1/2 year old that I thought were dreams.

I met Timothy McVeigh at agun show when he was selling ammo. I also met Jim Nichols. Besides that they were responsible for detonating bomb, a week before the bombing, men were seen drilling holes in the concrete pillars in the parking structure underneath. There also was a black helicopter hovering above. Frank Keating immediately came outside and said it was a Anfo bomb. I believe the government was involved and used McVeigh and Nichols to blow up building to cover evidence. Shortly after the bombing, frank Keating became governor, and armed guards protect the debris buried. There also was two separate explosions registered that was confiscated from the US department that monitors earthquakes

@@georgemcfly1205 seriously research it yourself. The FAA recorded a passenger plane hovering above the McMurrah Building during the explosion, .. the transponder of a plane doesn't hover. Us sizemagraphic institute registering two separate explosions.. research it yourself. I have to question what evidence was in the federal McMurrah Building the government needed to cover up and how can a attorney general instantly know it was a Amonimum Nitrate bomb with no former training in explosives? A Anfo bomb gets a 40 percent burn and leaves purple crystals everywhere. There's a picture of a tree untouched by the blast that was next to the alleged truck rental. Too many inconsistencies. On top of that, the axle of the truck that was used to identify McVeigh and Nichols was found 3 blocks away without a scratch on it. A bomb of that magnitude left a Crater. How is it the axle magically flew 3 blocks and didn't get embedded in concrete

How has security changed since Oklahoma City or even 9/11? In 1984 in the city Bhopal, India there was a massive gas leak at the Union Carbide chemichal plant. 43,000 liters of MIC gas leaked out from the plant and killed 15,000 people, another 600,000 people has been affected since then. That incident was caused by human neglience, but what would stop terrorists from buying the chemichals needed to make millions of liters of Metylisocyanate and release it on any american city?

"McVeigh became a candidate for Special Forces, but dropped out after just 2 days" Timothy McVeigh's Lifelong Dream was to become a member of the Special Forces for the US Military. Ever since he was a kid, that's all he wanted. They really expect us to believe that he dropped out after just 2 days!? I don't think so. I don't care what they say was wrong with him at the time. He would have put every ounce of effort into it. Every single bit of strength. I know this because i was in the Army for 6 years. I wasnt in any type of Special Forces, but I know some guys who were. Most of them who want it bad enough would *_NEVER_* have quit after just 2 days. Even the weakest links wouldn't quit for a week or two. There is definitely more to it than we are aware of. Some of his fellow soldiers claim that there wasn't anything wrong with him at the time. And that he was so obsessed with becoming special Forces that they were shocked when they heard he dropped out. Not to mention that he had basically just "disappeared" after that. Didnt wait around to say goodbye to his friends, some of whom he was extremely close with. If that doesn't make you wonder then idk what will.

Um the AT&T building in Tennessee was blown up in 2021 in a similar way allegedly it housed certain servers that held information on the presidential election fraud that occurred in 2020 severs that were allegedly recovered in a Special Forces raid on an American Air Force base in Frankfurt Germany in the battle Special forces commandos were killed in a fire fight against CIA agents despite the deaths computers were recovered and arrests were made but at this point that's just a rumor or at least unsubstantiated
