Left off the First Americans Museum (and soon to come OKANA) for Oklahoma City, also Science Museum Oklahoma. OKC has it for museums and attractions by far.

@rchilde1 Yeah, Okana is gonna be huge and level up the aesthetic of the area surrounding downtown okc. Excited to see it come to fruition. And yeah, I've definitely mentioned both the First Americans Museum and Science Museum Oklahoma in several videos - I'm surprised they didn't get a mention in this one 🤔. You're right, OKC has the museums/attractions department locked down. Also an interesting artistic experience I don't mention enough, is Factory Obscura.

I've been in Okla most of my life. I have been to just about every city other than in the panhandle. I'm just tired of all the cities bs. OKC and Tulsa are both better than most other cities. There's good and bad in both. We stay at home for the most part now. We're getting older and are now thinking about moving to somewhere away from all the bs and drama. When all the kids are grown and on their own, moving is in the plans. We're thinking south/south east coast line, like Florida.

I think OKC should expand the Oklahoma river to be closer to downtown, they should dig out the almost undeveloped land that sits in front of 1-40 and make that land into part of the river, they should also build the bridges to have better designs, a design like the yellow Pittsburgh bridges but blue would look nice.

That's actually a really great idea! Would be quite expensive for sure, but would make for a really great aesthetic.

totally agree on the bridges in OKC. I think they add if not fully equate to OKC's rather bad appearance. It'd be a HUGE improvement if OKC did a Dallas-type bridge improvement initiative - especially along the Oklahoma River.

I like Tulsa, However Oklahoma City wins in a rout for me between the two cities.

Yeah, I really enjoy Tulsa. Love me a good show at Cains, or enjoying a different park/activity, and some of their unique independent restaurants. But when it comes down to it, I'm just an OKC guy through and through 😎

I have lived in both cities and found OKC cheaper over all. Tulsa is the Leftist Capital of Oklahoma, home in Tulsa 280k+ in neighborhoods you would want to live in- ie: your stuff maybe there when you get home. Okc-250k+ for same type of neighborhood. In both cities you can find homes in the 65k+ range but you are looking at the Flats in Okc and Turley in Tulsa. Or you can go the other direction and live in Surry Hills, Quail Creek or North side of Jenks, Bixby and have a 500 to 1 million+ dollar home. Average income OKC 45-50K Tulsa 85-101k. I have known people to get jobs in Tulsa and live in small town 50+ miles away. But the same goes for OKC. Philbrook is the best reason to come to Tulsa. All this information comes from the people I know and not what people have reported on survey's. Most of these people have AS to PhD's work in Medical or Law Enforcement , a few have JD or MD-DO's. Sample size is 50+. Ages 35-65.

we are closing on a "vacation home" in maple ridge tulsa...our back yard has access to the gathering place. I grew up in Tulsa....I like that it is smaller by area and population. Our main residence is Manhattan NYC ! so its always nice to escape to Tulsa to see family and now to stay in our new home as much as time permits. The political environment is somewhat concerning being that I am a liberal "snowflake" but I just make it a point to never bring up politics when visiting Oklahoma and I won't need an abortion any time soon.

@hotwig68 Tulsa is a cool city for sure! That's great you've made it the place for a 2nd home. The Gathering place is pretty amazing 😎
