I can only imagine if this was my son, knowing how much he hurts inside feeling like his entire world knows he’s a failure. It sucks man, it really does. Not saying he deserves to continue as our QB, not making excuses, just feeling for the kid. He was still a teenager when this season began.

If we feel this terrible, I can only imagine how bad he feels in private. Sees ghosts because he gets sacked in his nightmares. The oline strategy was bad to say the least. Maybe they had no other choice. Seems like everyone injured from the 2022 recruiting class. I hope we can start playing the most talented players. We can run the ball with the best most physical backs (Robinson/Tatum/Hicks). Run the qb too. I like our running game. Have that tough running team identity. It worked for Michigan last year.

The fact that he says that he is playing on instincts, not overthinking, and mostly delivering the ball on time is an indictment on the coaching staff. JA has a ton of talent, but he threw the ball more than 10 yds maybe once tonight. JA, let it loose.

SEC football is a big step up from HS and Big 12 Ball. Learn ball security and throwing the ball more than 5 or 10 yards. Granted your OC 's don't help. In the end your play is on you. You sound and act like a class act, but it's results on the field that matter.

@@BradMillsOK 100 percent. I would get away from OU as fast as possible. They totally mismanaged him. Freshman year they burned his redshirt running him into a pile over and over against teams like Tulsa and never let him air it out. This season they gave him the most inept incompetent offensive coaching staff in the entire country and then shifted the entire blame on him and humiliated him in front of the entire country and benched him just to bring him back out and burn another redshirt of his for a meaningless season. Instead of having 3 years to develop him, he only has 2 more years to prove himself if he wants to go to the NFL. They totally broke his confidence and you can see it in his play. Everyone can say he sucks and it’s his fault (yes the turnovers are don’t get me wrong) but he was ranked the number 1 overall player in Texas and won the Elite 11 for a reason. They gave him zero tools to work with. An OL that gives up 9 sacks a game (ranked 133 out 133 teams in fbs for sacks given up), TE’s that can’t block or catch, RB’s who can’t gain yards or momentum, WR’s who cant separate or get open, no real QB coach (this was the worst imo) and called elementary school plays for him. They pretty much said “oh, we have no clue what we are doing but you’re a 5 star plus so go out there and make chicken salad with chicken shit”. I would be effing furious if I were his parents. They broke that kid so bad mentally.

@@claypennington602 I get what you’re saying and I agree to an extent but it’s on the staff mostly imo.
