@hichcoc I don't think that's going to happen. Brent Venables has been doing a great job, especially this year, and he's never given Bob Stoops a reason to doubt him. And Mike will probably persue a career as a head coach for another program. You gotta remember, Mike elevated Arizona. He just had a problems this last several years that were out of his control. I think at a football program that has a better advantages, He'll do great.

If you are an OU fan, then I agree. that has to change, i don't know about this but i think the defense needs to improve to.

I agree w/ wtfref, it's hard to be motivated for KU after Texas and after what OSU, did to them. Classic case of them playing their best- us playing our worst and still winning by 30...need more Finch though

You highlights are the best on KZbin. And you put them up so quickly! Nice job!

4th down play at 7:00 minutes was brilliant. Showing 6 man rush, 5 drop into zone after snap, and the 1 rusher doesn't get blocked, hitting the QB.

I still don't get what happened? We played so much better in this game than we did the last half of the season, and even in this game there was some mistakes. I hope Stoops really fixes the problems and makes 2012 a more memorable year than 2011.

@crackhead2777888 yeah we came out kinda sloppy I don't think they were motivated, especially coming off the texas game. But if we keep winning we'll be in the title game

Yeah..Landry Jones needs to improve vastly if we are going to have a shot at the national title. I hope Kenny Stills is alright... H~

OU vs tx - 55/17 - it's called a rout; OU vs ks - 47/17 - it's called a victory - what's the dif? Really, sports writers - OU did what it had to do for another week, a BIG win!

Dominque Whaley could have been one of the great ones. We'll never know. Freak injury at KSU.

So many problems... But, I'm sure it will just be another game that Stoops, Venables, and Huepal will be reviewing and coaching up the team on what not to do. I'm still happy with the win though. I know the "experts" are going to frown upon the performance, but Kansas was not playing horrible like they had been and OU was playing sloppy. What is wrong with the world when a 47-17 win is considered unimpressive? Keep on trucking OU.BOOMER!!!

@OUfootballAuthority Perhaps you are right...But the defense hasn't truly been the same since Mike left... Brent is okay but he is not of Mike Stoops caliber. I'll take Mike Stoops any day but I do understand what you are saying however. H~

@hichcoc Your kidding right? if you knew anything you would know that Mike Stoops and Venables were Co-defensive coordiantors together! So how would you take mike over him any day? they ran the same plays as eachother and were equals. that made no sense.
@ousoonerfan991012 жыл бұрын
We were ranked number 1 onetime and we did not play as a number 1 team. we have to have a greater offense and defense.

@bigb771 Why are you going through watching different OU highlight videos and mouthing? You put almost this exact comment on another OU highlight video. It's funny because I told you how OU has beaten OSU every year since 2002, and you said I was living in the past. Yet here you're saying the SEC dominates every year. So that's not living in the past?....
@bigb77113 жыл бұрын
@mvaclaw Georgia Tech beat them by the same amount as OSU. Also yes Oklahoma beat FSU, but so did Clemson and some unranked team. And Oklahoma only beat Missouri by 10 points at home. You should think about that.

@mxpackard Missouri sucks, Good luck with Oklahoma State AT Oklahoma State. Another SEC team to the NC this year. Getting pretty used to it and its not surprising to me anymore. SEC dominates every year.

@hahnsolo89 Makes all the sense in the world if you can or are able to read the whole thing as opposed to bits and pieces....Since Mike has departed, the team has lost its swag on that side of the ball..It doesn't take a astronaut to decipher that... Therefore....are you kidding me right now????!!! H~

since when did winning by 30 points stop being impressive?

@spaceghost4life Exactly..that hahnsolo guy is clueless...He needs to go back to watching "Star Wars" movies as opposed to commenting on issues relating to these..... H~
