This was a trap game. OU was coming off a bye, having just beaten Texas, facing the #4 offense in the country that had just gotten their starting QB back. People act like UCF was a scrub. They have the #3 rushing offense in all of college football.😅 All their losses were after Plumlee got hurt. OU was the first team that got him when he finally came back healthy. This is the kind of game every team gets, and you either survive or you don't. OU did.

Give UFC credit for playing a great game but that was a really bad effort and OU was lucky to get out of this game with a win playing a lackluster game and making those mistakes. There are bright spots, that they did not give up and still kept trying to make things work late in the game. They maintained composure even after some mistakes owing to some lack of composure (I’m talking that unsportsmanlike conduct when it became 4th and goal). It was good that they got humbled and still pulled off the win. It would have been easy to become resentful and play with a resentful tone. They buckled down like professionals and got things done, in the end when it mattered most with genuinely good plays.
