From 2018: Dena Dean was your typical teenager, on the honor roll at school, working part-time at a local fast-food place and dating boys. One night in 1998, she went to meet someone, but she never came home. MORE: bit.ly/3mzXekK

i absolutely love when retired detectives form a group and most often times they do more work than ones employed. EDIT: yall realize they take on more than one case at a time? this specific group was working on from what i researched about 3 cases at once idk where yall keep getting the information that they only work on one case at a time lol cause that’s false.

Couldn't have said it better myself! That's been my theory all along. Cuz the eyewitness said he saw her arguing with 2 ppl in a truck. I bet he called his dad and told him where and when she got off so he waited for her to come out and confront her over the fact that she was "pregnant". Meanwhile the ex bf went bowling with his friends so he'd have an alibi. But in a doc about this case, someone reported that he only was at the bowling alley for less than an hr and he came home all disheveled and immediately changed his dirty clothes.

She should not have lied about being pregnant but the boyfriend and his father should not have killed her. If the boyfriend was so upset about possibly becoming a father, he should learn to use condoms or other means of birth control.

You don’t know that she lied. My friends were all teen moms, and they thought they were pregnant several times, before they actually were. If they were having unprotected sex, she was probably terrified of getting pregnant and maybe on Thursday she thought she was, and by Saturday she had started her cycle and wanted to tell him she wasn’t actually pregnant.

I just watched a similar case on Cold Justice yesterday where the girl really was pregnant and they found her and the baby's skeletal remains on her boyfriend's and father's property. The detectives were able to find out through DNA that a) her boyfriend was the father and b) the gender of the baby was a boy so the victim's family could get a proper gravestone for him.

0:55 This is a father in mourning. This is the sadness that a missing daughter produces. Whenever I see the McCanns on tv with their sneers and anger, I know they killed their own daughter because THIS father here is how a parent of a missing child looks, even after 20 years. He's not suing every person who tries to help or raising millions pretending the money is going towards the search but really it's going towards a mortgage and nice things. This man is broken.
