Still not impressed with the recruiting. We are not getting any 4 star recruits or anyone that top teams are going after. Back to the bowl games. Not excited

The portal class is floating between top 25-30 and they are tied for the most portal transfers additions in the country. There are many needs to address and OSU has limited resources. They needed a lot of above average players. Would be different if they just needed a few, but there’s only so much money and they have to make decisions on how to spend it.

Yes, we are getting recruits that top teams are going after. Malik Charles (DE): Offers from Texas A&M, Nebraska, Mississippi State, chose OkSt Michael Diatta (DT): Offers from Vanderbilt, UCLA, FSU, Chose Oklahoma State Kyran Duhon (DE): Had true freshman all american honors, offers from Virginia, Boise State, and Texas Tech I could go on and on about all of our commits because they all had several power 4 level offers, and offers from these “top teams” you speak of. I can see that you are very unfamiliar with recruiting by your mention of the stars that recruits in the portal get. High school recruits have years to be scouted and evaluated by legit college and nfl level scouts. For portal guys, the recruiting sites more or less look at their stats from the previous season and go off that because of the sheer number of players entering the portal. Your argument is baseless

@@BuffalOKstate Even so, 25-30 is a massive improvement considering we've been in the 50-60 range the last few years.
