Oh my God, this is me. I'm a little younger than Bob but I'm getting my supplies and materials together for my business,. Going to concentrate on White Dorkings and Lavender Orphingtons. Maybe some ducks for the eggs. A really nice little retirement without an outlay of lots of startup money. I'm outside of Shreveport, La. Fun doing the research on the internet.

Have to be so so careful. Predators can get through almost anything. Got to keep them defences up! Just got 4 of our own chickens and started a series of videos where I feed them different things if anyone is interested. :)

Love this video. But unfortunately you didn't ask to that uncle about how does he takes care the sick chicken? what is his solution? is there any immunization that he apply to his chicken? and how about the climate changes towards chicken and epidemic of poultry disease? I think this will help a lot for chicken farm from any or at least can reduce the loss that occurs in the poultry farm. Anyway, thanks for sharing this video. love it

I think buff orpingtons are beautiful chickens! This book I found is also great at helping you decide whether to keep chickens or not. I love my chickens, and remember when first starting, not really knowing what was needed right off. www.amazon.com/dp/B01AFJSDKY/
