Also My mom and I were in a bad car wreck last year, July 3rd, on our way to see family living in upstate New York. Long story short (I’ll try at least), car was totalled, my mom’s face was almost caved in, she had to be life flighted and have her spleen removed and blood transfusions. Her one eye still is not right but she’s here and she’s going to be ok. I crushed my pelvis in four places but after two months in a wheelchair and two bolts put in my bones, I was walking. Never spoke to the man that hit us . Found out from police later that when questioned he said he had no idea what happened - yet it was only my mother and I who were knocked unconscious and left to wake up in separate hospitals, me without my phone, without answers for two days. I can’t remember what happened either but I feel like being unconscious is a better excuse than his lack of one. Anyway…I could write a book here. But no one wants that, this is already too long. Just wanted to say thank you again for the lyrics, even if they aren’t literally relevant to my experience it made the song hit me that much harder. Wasn’t expecting that this morning but 🤷🏻‍♀️✌🏻🖤
