It's not that big a deal. The extra healing is arguably more useful than Arthur's mid damage.

When it comes to countering Baal, I use David for his active ability. Really gives a Baal main a hard time in objective points/big loot points like Dead end or Harry's houses.

25% reduction is about 30 energy per portal on 3 points(that one the early game, later is cheaper). About 10 energy per portal placed. Its a lot more than the traps. Not sure how long that is for a unit

Baal is my favourite Demon ATM. I don't care if he's best, he is fun. Creating minefield around survivors is amusing.

The only issue I have and it's not with baal is that some traps are just can't be dodged it's free damage even though I can clearly see the trap I just gotta tank it some mechanic to dodge the trap (dodge into it so you can't cheese it ) I don't mind a slight buff to the traps if it means if your careful and vigilant can't dodge them

He counters him a bit if you’re trapped in one area or to disable traps on point but then you can just place these portal traps instead which basically counters that

Baal can encounter Ed too. If Baal summoned, he can disable flashlights which it’s caused Ed’s disabled trap ability to be useless

I feel like there's a few essentially correct ways to say Baal, like the most correct I think is actually to say both 'a' sounds (so Bah-Ahl) but that's also an extremely non-intuitive way to say a word as an english speaker.

I personally think a new super team could be Ruby, Brock, WAsh, and David. Brock adds 14% damage mitigation and healing on top of being able to seemlessly slot himself into a Henry-like role if built tank

Hunter ash over warrior always, hunter ashs cooldown is just insane alone and ruby and brock with a support will both make it cooldown even faster, besides they added damage reduction cap for survivors at 55% anyways

So I just got done with a game and it was frustrating! I was playing Baal. And I took out 3 survivors at the beginning within 5 minutes, there was one Blacksmith and he carried the whole team. Grabbing their souls and reviving them over and over again. I was level 31 and still couldn’t get him! Know why!? Cause he was in a house and kept jumping in and out of the windows! Stuff is annoying and Baal can’t counter it. Luckily I still won cause time ran out, but still something has to be done! Like take half of their stamina bar when they jump out and half if they jump back in and can’t jump back out till they get half their stamina back. Of make it to where they can only jump out/over but not back in or back over. I placed traps and even summoned Baal, grabbed him got him down to near death, and he just hops back over and heals. Ughhh

Yeah it's super annoying, best away is to place mobs down near windows and get them to hit him, if you're quick you can land like one hit at a time but i agree it's pretty annoying when you're being looped

The cost of placing portals is reduced and seeing how Baal can place trap versions it helps put more down
