Johnny doesn’t scare me, he is just mad annoying. Not because he kills me often but because not even kidding 80% of the time I’m just about to escape he magically just appears without a sound forcing me to either fight him or well. Usually fighting him then welling if I’m not close,hence high strength on all my characters

Unrelated but a Leland was messing around at the exit and I came in as Johnny and killed him. Exit was open too. It was the battery on the Abandoned Mill.

I love going up against a good Johnny player, it’s terrifying. And I absolutely don’t mind having one on my team that knows how to patrol and isn’t going to be in basement the whole match. To me, in the right hands he’s the scariest Family after Leatherface. Plus he’s got a great VA. Not enough people play him. ❤

My Johnny build is Fired Up, Big Swings, and Vial-ent. Maxed Savagery and rest into Endurance. Three hits, and they're gone. I've had it for so long and I live by that build.

It always surprises me how many people think Johnny is overpowered. The guy does one thing, high damage in an open area, its the only thing he has going for him. Leatherface also has this, but also has grapple immunity, shorter door stuns, breaks doors/barricades/crawlspaces and he's faster, with the trade off for all that being that hes noisy as hell.

I always find it funny when I play solo, because you either get the SCARRIEST Johnny’s who are fast and hit really hard, or the new player who spends half the match looking for feet. There is no Johnny’s in between.

They really need to do a perk tree/perk rework. I feel like 90% of the perks are just useless. On bother sides. Like, they're the meta perks, then every other perk nobody uses.

They can't just make all of the perks strong. As much as I agree some of them are absolutely worthless, that's just how it's supposed to be. Some perks will be way better than others, of course they could adjust them a little but that still wouldn't help them in any way, they still wouldn't be used over something much more useful.

I think people really just need to invest more time into the game & maybe play both sides before they offer biased opinions. Because when they don't & they cry for needless nerfs well you end up with useless killers like Hands. Nobody was even crying about Scout , they cried about his ripstall but not only did they nerf the ripstall (which already had a counter play) but they removed Scout , and with his T-rex arms he is now virtually unplayable , even as the best grappler

I never really have a hard time with Johnny unless i’m out in the open. The game has so many infinites it’s crazy they haven’t touched gaps and crawl spaces. Also funny how the scout nerf was actually a buff since before it reduced attack damage. I like using a blood build on Johnny and i believe he needs the perk to break barriers.

When I used to play the game which was before the 1st new killer Nancy ever came out I believe, I was a Johnny main with Hitch being my fallback. With Survivors I was a Ana main with Julie and Leland as my fallbacks and honestly if you want to be good at this game you gotta play both sides so even in the most unwinnable scenarios you’ll have a way better chance of surviving and I was a mic-less solo player too.

The reason I hate Johnny isn't because he's overpowered, it's because he takes absolutely NO skill and whenever I get killed it's not because I got outplayed or because the guy did a good play, it's because he decided to spam the attack button. He's not even that good, he's just a worse but stealthier and when your doing a door more deadly bubba. Since the grapple rework it's almost impossible to win against him if they have suffocating grip which doesn't help his situation, they should rework him. Make him loose speed while he hits so he can't just 4 hit you while pressing a single button, but instead buff and change his ability significantly and give him some kind of tool or item, like Wyatt's throwing knives for example. Right now Johnny is in an unhealthy state where he's just a worse Bubba that can be paired with Bubba but also takes absolutely no skill and feels terrible to play against and also have on your team sometimes. That's the reason why I hate him but honestly I don't hate Johnny so much, I hate Hitchy with a BURNING PASSION THO. He has traps that serve as anti loop OR lockdown, can go through gaps, and he has Johnny's speed. The problem with Hitchy is that he has all that, but that's not the problem, it's that he has all that, but can also get Scout with Serrated And Feral. Which means that Hitchhiker can 4 tap you, go through gaps, have the same speed as Johnny/Bubba while revving without scout and also having lockdown.

As a family main I am by far the best with Johnny. His tracking footprint ability is extremely helpful. Especially when there's 1 survivor left playing stealthy. The game recommended Johnny my very first game and I got a 4K my very first game. I'll always have a connection with Johnny.

I like Scout on Johnny, but his hit box is terrible sometimes. I run Big Swings, Unrelenting, and Blood Runner. The Hitbox seems to be better without scout.

I think meta Johnny is boring. So instead of vial-ent I run lv 3 chicken whisperer and it's hilarious. I still have max savagery and 25 blood harvesting. I can still contribute to grandpa levels for the team as well. But there was awhile recently where you couldn't even hear his footsteps at ALL. Dunno if that was a bug or what but no footsteps on victim side.

I used to suck at Johnny until I realised you have to play a bit strategically with him. He's easy to get away from if you utilize crawlspaces. With him, you have to sneak up on them in the middle of an open area. I switch out Unrelenting for either bloodrunner or Activated.

For me as a dedicated Fam player I think Johnny is S tier with Leather, amazing for damage, speed and pressure. Has is weaknesses of course. Love Johnny💪

He actually very good if you know how to use him. There are still better family like hitch, cook, Hands, and Leatherface. However he was one the few that as the best stats but have sucky ability. Victims can literally crouch for his ability. Johnny hit dection as one the worst at times. He can't go to barricades. He destroy doors with easy and defend pretty good to 4 shot speedy victims especially if you catch them in the act. I don't know how many speedrun Connie I catch in the game and 4 shot them with Johnny. Some Connie are super stubborn trying to tank family hits like Johnny, Hands or even Cooks attacks until they died.

Johnny just does to much damage and most players rush the basement when they play as him, you can’t really grapple him at all unless your Leland, he seems to hit you at long distance and when the hackers appear they’re always playing as Johnny, I think he’s just to cheap and needs a big rework.

Basically the guy is a cheat code in terms of speed. I;ve been outrun by him when using max endurance players. Plus his swings are just a spam fest and propel him forward even faster. That and his god damned tracking ability. There should be a perk you can use to counter that shit, otherwise playing stealthily is pointless. Especially solo, of you're one of the final players left. he's a joke in confined areas though, but say your goodbyes if he catches you in the open.
