Metro Exodus is a first-person shooter game with survival horror and stealth elements. Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation after the events of Metro: Last Light. The game continues the story from Metro: Last Light's "Redemption" ending. Similar to the previous two entries, the player assumes the role of Artyom who flees the Metro in Moscow and sets off on a continent-spanning journey with Spartan Rangers to the far east. Artyom first travels around the Volga River, not far from the Ural Mountains, to get a ride on a locomotive known as the "Aurora" that heads east for a new life. The story takes place over the course of one year, starting with a harsh nuclear winter in the metro.

I recorded a cool detail myself. Enemies accurately call out your location in firefights. I’ve had enemies say I’m in the left train car, then I moved behind some concrete slabs and they said word for word I’m behind the concrete slabs. Then they accurately tried to flank and stuff. Cool details

During the night, however, You could kick the fuckers' on their shins and they could easily not notice you.

Anybody noticed that the three characters that greeted you out of the Medbay are sequential? Duke from Volga, then Damir of the Caspian Sea, and then Alyosha from the Valley. I never knew of that detail from the beginning but holy moly. The DEVs did a great job with the game's story.

To be honest it gets pretty in depth. From conversations you can miss about the actions you took to like how people react to you Example would be if you were full stealth but knocked and killed some people you c an hear some guardsmen talking about how you killed half the squad but left people who surrendered alive. Then talk about how you clearly still have humanity but your still a heretic. There’s quite a lot of variables in what they say based on what you do and it really makes you feel like your playstyle has a huge effect on the story This video just didn’t do a good job

If you kill a lot of people the article says - ( suppose ) 28 people massacred If you kill 2-3 people - article says the ghost killed ( targets name ) And if you killed nobody except the target - the article said silent assassin killed ( targets name ) It was a detail in 2008 Now , its a necessity

Another cool detail is when you use your lighter and try to clean your gasmask. First you turn of the light, the lighter is still in your hand while you wipe it and then you turn on the light again.The amount of detail in this game can not be said. Great video :)

I found another detail in this game-the windshield of UAZ-452 is destroyable and bullet can damage the windshield and you can’t repair it, but Krest can, he repaired and upgraded this car for exploring Novosibirsk, he covered walls of UAZ-452 with lead to make radioactive adventure in Novosibirsk more safety

Also hayballs will catch fire, you can turn candles with lighter (not with button), when you shoot at water at the Caspian lake the riples reflect like rainbow meaning that there is oil in it. If you caress Ana at the right moment at the train while she is in yiur lap it will make diferent efects not only caress or holding hand. You have to litsen to her voice. The AK barrel will glow red if you unload magazine and get jammed. Excellent game 🏆!!!

You know that you did the right (or wrong) thing by your screen and sounds, e.g.: 1. 0:37 - Artyom finished the location peacefully, therefore we see light blue flash and that sound 2. 1:16 - Artyom killed a man, therefore we see "sepia" effect and correspond sound

By far one of the best details in exodus at least imo is the gun sounds, FINALLY developers put the effort into REALISTIC sounds like the echo when you fire inside an enclosed space or when you shoot the sniper revolver or the valve and you hear the distant crack of the round. Overall when it comes to the small details that make or break a series metro 1/2/3 is easily top 5 best game series of all time! With that said IF i was able to add/change one thing about the metro series especially exodus would be a larger variety of weapons. Would nice to see semi modern shotguns,smgs,ar,heavy mg n pistols, I mean its russia for christ sakessobyou know they would have access to a stockpile of fairly modern and ww2 era firearms

and the best part is that your gun get stuck every 5-10 billet, so when you are attacked by fucking zombie you must constant pushing R to reload, so cant fire 1 full mag without stuck, 2nd you are scavenger in giant trash can who collecting metal scrap and some kind of liquid and craft ammo, filters and medic from radiated gloving mushrooms, BUT the most important thing is that your top of gun pipe is gloving orange after 5 bullet

Here's another : Enemy will communicate to each other,telling where you are and try to flush you out if you are behind cover with explosive. Reminds me of the soldiers in F.E.A.R. Sneaking will be best when raining and on the cover of night, because the rain/any noise will cover your noise and obviously the darkness will help you go unnoticed. The fanatic son and father with the radio, if you turn off/shoot the radio the father will react to it. This one a bit funny, the enemy or the one you sneak around will sometimes speak about how they feel like being watched from the shadows. When doing ranged stealth takedown, if you hit non vital part of the enemy body ; hands or legs, they will shoot their gun in shock and pain. And this may be a strech but I think you will able to run farther without gasmask, also when you are in the forest area I can feel like you can run there much more longer than other area, and desert being the shortest, maybe that's why Damir say to you driving is much more favorable.

You also run faster with your weapon lowered, its honestly a really important mechanic, (Its amazing we can even do that, with a button.) They even showed this at E3 2018 reveal!
