Long story. I watched Champions League religiously growing up and I remember clear as day, my junior year in high school, the group of Deportivo, PSG, Galatasaray, and AC Milan. That group was so fun to watch that I started taping (on VHS) their group matches so I can watch them when I got home from school. Those four teams were stacked with great talent on each team and every match was exciting. I remembered Okocha from the World Cup in 1994 so seeing him with this young kid named Ronaldinho was spectacular. I use to tell my friends about Ronaldinho and years later, one of them remembered and sent me something on social media saying "you were right about him all those years ago". But I watched those PSG tapes non-stop. Moving to 2002, I was watching Premier League and saw Manchester City was playing. I didnt really know much about them cause in America we didnt get much information about the lower level teams. But, I was watching City and saw Distin, Benarbia, and Anelka playing for them that season and thought to myself....I dont like United, and this team from Manchester has these former PSG players, so I guess I'll start following them. In the end, thanks to PSG, I became a Man City supporter and have been since 2002. Long story I know but brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for the upload!!

When the commentator said Samba, I smiled. Only a Nigerian and a Brazilian will know what that means. Fun fact Nigeria is number 1 with the largest population of Africans. Who's number 2? Brazil. Brazil has made Yoruba the 2nd official language after Portuguese. These two countries have a rich history and culture are basically we are the same people. In this game, Okocha was in rare form. If Okocha had Oliseh and Finidi going to the 2002 world cup. Nigeria would have beaten Argentina and Okocha would have played for a more powerful team in Europe because Bolton was completely beneath him. This game was in 2001, and Ronaldinho went to the World Cup with the likes of Cafu, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, and Ronaldinho left PSG for Barcelona. Two great players, unfortunately, Okocha didn't have great club success. If Nigeria had given a good account of the 2002 world cup, (with the likes of Oliseh, Finidi, Babangida, Oruma, Ikpeba beingon that team) Okocha may have ended up in Spain or bigger team in France or Germany. Not Bolton.

@@samkelotempi6583Is not true. 99% of Brazil's African ancestry comes from Angola, Congo and Nigeria.
