Probably scripted. The changes of being able to fight Tyrion Elspeth and Karl Franz in 1 battle are practically 0.

@@jaspermooren5883Karl Franz and elspeth only start 2 settlements away from each other and border home provinces. Tyrion is only 4-5 turns of marching away from that region. It’s perfectly plausible that a fight could happen somewhere between Franz and Tyrion that only requires each lord 2 turns of movement to get to. I’ve had Franz campaigns where festus joined up with clan eshin to take down Vlad. Anything is possible with CAs botched AI
