We love our culture and language. Kindness is embedded in our culture. Only those arrogant people who don't respect the place, people and language despite having taken all the advantage of our facility will be facing their own karma. We love and respect our language, we don't force people to speak Kannada but we'll be happy if you put efforts. Since there are so many outsiders in Namma Bengaluru, our own language is getting sidelined, this scares the locals. We'll be so glad to find a Kannadiga in our own place. Imagine! This is what causes outrage sometimes, especially these days. It was not like this before. Why don't people who come to Bangalore never leave? It has everything. @@rojaachar Fr Bangalore wouldn't be the metropolitan city that it is today if it weren't for the accepting nature of the locals. Even today I find many locals switching to Hindi or English if they find out someone's not from here. Just because a few so called "pro kannada activists", who are just a very small fraction of the population, vandalised a few name boards and a few totally unrelated incidents involving auto walas plus all this exaggerated by media because Congress is in power in the state, you can't judge a whole city smh 🤦

U should definitely visit historical and tourist places around blore, like nandi hills, bhoga nandeeshwara temple , ISHA, mudenahalli in north bangalore outskirts. You can also visit mysore and srirangapatna and other historical places around mysore. You should definitely try 5am or early mrng biryanis.

People in Bangalore respect all languages, and while there may be some language issues, it's not as significant as some make it out to be. If you're new to Bangalore and speak your native language, that's perfectly fine; no one expects you to learn Kannada overnight. People here are sensible and often respond in the same language you're speaking. However, the issue arises with those who have lived here for 15 to 20 years and still claim they don't speak a word of Kannada. That's unacceptable, and it wouldn't be tolerated anywhere in the world. For instance, if someone lived in Germany for 20 years and couldn't speak the language, it wouldn't be acceptable. The same applies here

You guys should have tried masala dosa at Siddanna hotel. Gobi at Raja gobi in jp nagar. Varier bakery for fresh n hot bakery items in rajaji nagar. Iyer mess, temple mess for authentic meal. Aloo paratha at kapoors cafe. There are lot many places that cant be covered in a single day.

you must try lassi and desserts in sreeraj lassi bar in shivajinagar/RC college. veg meals in Halli mane in malleshwaram, absolute barbeque in kalyan nagar, Sweets and desserts in asha sweets (malleshwaram), shawarma and mutton biryani in le arabia, Pan in Santosh and sons in Cleveland town, shahi titar in taj in hoskote, mandi in raidan in frazer town , haleem in al zaara in frazer town, chole baturre in Paakashala in malleshwaram, bombay chats in Guru darshan in mattikere (bel petrol bunk) cold badam milk in HSR layout. Bas humein tab accha lagta hai jab aap local culture ko bhi thoda badhava do aur accept karo. Agar bohot time se ho yahan pe to thoda Kannada try kar lo. Especially unn logon ke liye jinhe hindi zyada aati nahin hai. Yahan pe hum actual Kannadigas aur Bengalurians utne hain nahin ab. Population bohot badh gaya hai (isiliye traffic bhi badh gaya hai. Jhand hai yahan ka traffic, but ab kya kar sakte hain?), migrant population zyada hai, aur iss wajah se humein thodi si insecurity feel hoti hai jab hamare language ko kuch log disrespect karte hain.
