The new flambeau portage backpack is a dream. So much storage and features. It seems large but packed full it's actually super comfortable to wear around. The price tag is a little steep at 135-150 but I found it on a site for $50 less than msrp and I love it.

That would be great! The biggest problem I have with my pond bag is where/how to store JJ's. I've got 5 bottles in a sealed and padded container; it takes up too much space in my current bag. It'd be awesome if the deep box would hold them.

Looks a little bulky to use for everyday bank fishing. I prefer the satchel type. I don't bring a ton of gear with me for bank fishing; the less bulk I have to lug around the better! But it does look like a good stowaway pack maybe for camping/fishing.

Really nice bag definitely a bank fisherman's dream, one thing i wish all of this types of bags would have is a way to store your rods while fishing, i just hate to leave my rods on the ground that's how i got sand on one of my reels lucky me I'm pretty handy and i figured out how to add kind of like a rod holder made out of fabric on the side with a trap to hold the rod that way as I'm moving around i just pick up the bag and keep going and the rods are always handy and ready when i need to switch
@TackleJunky818 жыл бұрын
Rod holder would be a nice addition to the bag.

don't get me wrong but if you don't care about a brand, you are not a fanboy and all you look for is a backpack for the fishing style that fits you, its few out there better then this one, IMO I pick 1st Shimano, 2nd Abu Garcia Revo Backpack, 3rd Tackle Warehouse and for last Okuma Nomad, I have atm Shimano and tackle warehouse backpack, where I use the Shimano for sticks, cranks and Shads, Tackle WareHouse I use my Plastics, Jigs and spinning baits but like i said its end about preferences

Awesome bag!!! but toooo big, and will weigh a ton when you start filling that thing up. It would be exhausting to lug around all day...expensive and no pole holders either. I love my Abu Veritas sling backpack...its always at Dicks for under 40 bucks and is really creative storage wise and comes with 2 plastic storage containers...AND it has pole holders and a cool velcro plyer attachment on the sling for easy access. This has become my 'swiss army knife' when I'm hiking around the banks.

Sorry but seen that pack I have a pack from them reels well that's another story but I love that bag. Afraid to see the price been looking I'm disabed need a bag for my back or strap on my wheel chair handles so it saves me room the wheel chair had rod holders can take 4 to 9 rods anytime. It's set up but the. But the bag I got small the big ones broke my daughter uses. The just hand carry it's to heavy for me takes to much room. Need something to hang that fits me or the chair better. But yea needs room. I need 2 really. One for catfish stuff. One for bass stuff. That way depend what I'm trying to get for dinner. We have to eat fish alot single parent disabed not much money. But it's Christmas want me something. Just short on funds my babies 17th birthdays the 18th Dec. So she comes first. But love that bag love the box set up. Wish my other bag from them with the rod holder on the side the trap didn't break yea I fixed. But the zippers well I need another one. Thanks for sharing I sub you I follow alot of fishermen. I learn alot and need to learn new things for my kids non profit fishing group I teach them what I can fishing survival and god. Plus any good deals i see share with all I meet. Plus love to find cheap broke good it bad rods reels tackle and clean fix and give away to special kids. So a big pack carries alot of stuff to give away. Im following on Twitter and fb and intagram hope you don't mind. But fair warning I love to talk ask questions and comment. So get ready if I watch I will comment. But I'll try not to talk to much. God bless
