Achilles tendon ruptures happen a lot in the late 30,s early 40,s. She is 38. But 5 times more prevalent in Men vs Women. Odd thing is it can heal much stronger if healed correctly. Especially under the care of a sports surgeon / doctor who specialize in these types of injuries. To say this is a career ending injury I think is a bit premature.
