The cost is due to battery. You cannot compare with petrol scooter price. Btw, Chetak cost nearly Rs.170k+ on road in my city even though it has smaller battery.

@@Saurabh.P Itna kon galt ho sakta hai br pehele ye log 115kmph bolke bech rahe the ab bhai sabke scooter me max 116kmph dikata hai to sidha palti aur yahi advertisement karte 5-10 kmph chalta hai bhai 15!!! Lol bhai usi se range calculate hota hai na in the end speed ko consider karke itna galt kaise ho sakta hai koi 😂😂😂. Ather ka bhi max 10kmph error hai ig aur ice engines ki batt mat kar bhai unme sab accurate hota hai 😂 ECU ki maa bhen ho jayegi ICE me itna error send kiya odometer ne to. Shaday me galt ho sakta hu lekin bhai 3rd year mech wale se panga liya hai gyan to thok ke hi jaunga 😂😂 paisa wasool.

@@shantanupawar3609 Bhai it is a road transport ministry rule to show extra speed than the actual for safety purposes. It is applicable to petrol vehicles as well. Do some basic research before assuming things.

only thing missing is the reliability....I still have 10 year old bike and scooter both cost 50 and 40 thousands , and for 1.5 lakh I dont think ola s1 gonna last beyond 4 year its life is same as a smartphone and tablet..it has so many features and hence more chances of failing and prone to various errors.

Ola s1 ki battery sirf 60% tak hi charge rehtih hai so dont think that ola electric scooter should everyone charge in 4 to 5days for 100% battery charge when ola gives only 60% battery charge for 20km you usses in day then everyone have to charge in next 2nd day or 3rd day so this battery problem ola have to solve.

I driven in incline ola S1 pro for 15 min then i got heating issue.... Automatically it goes to eco mode in that situation...... But ather i driven 60 km straight no problem in incline in doubles.
