Thanks Ola, I wasn't sure about this one but after watching your video I made my mind. Always liked tc electronic products and this one doesn't disappoint. I love a fat setting combine with overdrive before. So harmonicly rich and dynamic. I though its mostly for rythm parts but I dialed fantastic solo tone on it. Suits even Pink Floyd music. Very happy with this one. And I paid £20 for like new unit. Someone obviously didn't like it but I do, very very much. It's a keeper and now it has replaced the other pedal on my board.

Hell yeah. I had the same FANGS pedal when I was living in Iowa. It was on sale and sounds awesome! I had also purchased a very used Electro Harmonix Metal Muff. Great pedal as well, and you should try it out Ola! There are a few versions, stick to the classic with top boost.

Hi Ola, I almost bought a fake Solar Guitar.....It seems that the guy took it down but I just want to make you aware of this....It is possible that some of the people working at your factory managed to get the CNC design of your guitars and started to make their own replicas...this is just an hypothesis....I have a screenshot of the chat with him where he acknowledges that it is in fact a replica.

I had this and a Friedman BE-OD and liked this one better, personally, plus I didn't feel so bad getting a used Fangs for $30 instead of $130 on the used BE-OD. You can get a lot of great tones out of the Fangs. Just rebought this pedal again.

Tc smorgasbord range is rebranded behringer pedals basically. Not dissing, just a fun fact. Behringer pedals sound good, but their casings don't last. Enters tc, and makes them bulletproof, albeit with some upgrades

I love my Ibanez MTM1 - neckthru maple neck with mahagony body, fixed edge III and seymour duncan blackouts make a great job with excellent beastmode sound and top quality for less money as a solar I recommend the Jackson SL Mick Thomson, too. It's the similar guitar like the MTM.

I had a FANGS and I love its scoop tone. The Fat tone is loud but it is not suppressing the noise as well as scoop one. The raw tone is somewhat too noisy

This is a recreation of the Behringer pedal, just a different housing that's it. Behringers parent company bought TC Electronics and Behringer wanted TC to make cheap pedals, some new ones were made but the best of Behringers were put into metal housings with TC's name on it

I have this pedal as well. Its ok but I felt the same way at first. The thing I notice with Ola is the pickups in his guitars are a pretty good match for metal music tone. So after tinkering with different setups and EQing, I was pleased with a couple setups I created. I also experimented with running it into Amplitube's Engl Powerball's clean channel and liked the result. The only thing I've yet to try was running an overdrive in front of it. To tighten it up even more. Good luck with yours, and if you figure something out, let me know.

I think I was been conservative with my bass and treble after watching Ola crank them for raw and fat modes. I have run stock Jackson pickups, Schechter Duncan design Actives and EMG 707 through it. I'm going to dial up the bass and treble and see where it gets me.

Cool pedal & episode of 'Will it chug?' I have the Fangs, its 'Raw' mode sounds like how the Eyemaster pedal may sound if it had EQ dials to adjust the sound to a tighter sounding/chugging HM-2 type tone. The 'Fat' mode sounds similar except more scooped. Actual 'Scoop' mode sounds like Metal Zone. Also, 3.40 in video: what song is that? Awesome thrash riff 🤘
