Yep, I had a vision of being up there and Maddi saying "here, give it a try" as he hands me JP's guitar, and I spend the next 5 minutes trying to remember how to play.....anything...anything at all.........as JP comes busting out from back stage to rescue his guitar. Ever seen a guitar god give his guitar a pep talk? "You're ok, it's over, stay calm".

Those clean tones are sweet and the chugs articulate and tight. JP's rig tones have always been excellent and the 40 years of refinement shows. it's one thing to buy the gear and do it yourself but to play the rig of one of your heroes must be surreal. This video was for Ola more than the viewers I think too.

I had rock discipline about 20 years ago. Even today, it's the best introduction to the idea of targeted practice. Isolate the technique or idea and drill it... rather than just playing it. Spent hundreds of hours finding those weaknesses and grinding through them with that course.
