I own the Katana Air, used it for 6hrs a day for 5yrs, it just died recently. It's impossible to get replacement batteries, I'm told. I have the Spark Go, but so far, no tone-replicator I've used so far will accept a wireless signal from the guitar *AND AT THE SAME TIME* maintain a Bluetooth connection to the device running the app, yet still re-transmit the sound via Bluetooth. I like to clip the Spark Go to my belt, plug my wireless system into my Strat & the Spark, and play into my headphones (apartment living). To keep it quiet, I have to plug my otherwise wireless Bluetooth Sony headphones physically into the Spark amp. One wire, I know, boo-hoo, but I want the Spark to take what it gets from my guitar & send it back to my earphones/earbuds via Bluetooth instead. No more wires, just strum, and hear it instantly on my Jabra Elite 10 earbuds. I like to play along with content on my PC. Spark Go connects to my PC via USB-C, I plug the wireless guitar receiver into the Spark, transmitter into my Strat (which for this story will be Dave Gilmour's Black Strat since in this story he's a personal friend & confidante). I connect to the Spark via Bluetooth on my Samsung S21 Ultra so I can iterate thru tones. I'm too cheap for pedals. That part is too true to even fake. My setup: PLAY: [Strat] -> Wireless Transmitter/ Receiver -> Spark -> USB-C cable -> PC also: [ Cellphone -> Bluetooth -> Spark to define/set tone ] LISTEN: [KZbin, Ola Englund of course!] -> PC -> USB-C cable -> Spark -> Headphones wire-connected to the Spark. In my headphones: I hear my playing, whatever the PC is playing at the same time, and can adjust the volume of both separately. I'm able to noodle along to anything. No lag, either. Change the tone via the Spark app on my phone, my tone changes, the PC continues to play my movie/KZbin. I'm LOVING this - but I want more. I want to change the last line to: PC -> USB-C cable -> Spark -> Bluetooth Out (earbuds, etc) So far, only one 'inbound' Bluetooth connection can be maintained by the Spark Go. I love new tech - and I'm a crap guitarist, only been playing 6yrs now, but I love playing. Hours per day. It's like therapy. Great channel so far - browsing now.
