@@francismcaleister rich people like expensive toys. I also think the same about PRS private stock guitars that cost 10k+. Yes, they look nice but for nearly a third of the money you can buy a Mayones that is just as, if not more beautiful and well built. Tbh if a guitar builder can get away with charging extortionate prices for their ‘master built’ guitars then they will. I own a VOLA that cost £1500 and is absolutely just as good as many Ernie Ball/Suhr models I’ve played for twice the cost.

There is a category of buyers who only buy things that are insanely overpriced, because that is commensurate with the rest of their lifestyle. If you can find a way to sell to these people, there is a lot of money to be made.

Trust me as an owner of 3 majesty's 1 being a bfr you want to have the Ernie Ball Majesty rather than the Sterling. I tried a Sterling once and it didn't stand up to the Ernie Ball ones. They are nice. However I really like the addition of the piezo's in the Ernie ball majesty.

Well, if the Sterling is all you can afford then there's not much of a choice... I have a pre-owned Sterling 7-String Majesty in arctic dream and love it to bits. Would I like the "real deal" at some point in my life? Sure, but this will tide me over nicely.
