I'm so heartbroken that millions of people watching this could not understand every single word in this song.. I can bet you that you will surely shed tears assuming you understand the information this guy is trying to pass.. Anytime I'm feeling down, I used to put the music on replay in order to give myself the hope that no condition is permanent and that things are gonna be alright for me someday just like this guy. This young man was trying to tell us never to forget our roots and how rough his humble beginning was and that is what millions of African children are passing through but we still hope for better days despite all our challenges. Just that he lost both parents shortly after he became famous and rich. It's my language, it's my culture, it's my tradition.(Yoruba language is so amazing) Proudly Nigerian

He narrated his ordeal in the music. His true life story. How his parents went through hell to put food on the table, how landlord chase them away, how they sold their properties just to feed. Then, how he left the comfort of home to the streets to hustle for good life through music. Then how he finally made it. The chorus of the music is from an old school Yoruba music by Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose: it translates to there's no affluence that comes easy but with a lot of sacrifices. Thank you.

Mommy ta Ashor ati bata fun Kparo - Wow look at that strong word!! It remind me when my grand mom and my mom use to sell their stuff to Kparo and Onigo aka (Bottle buyer) so that i could eat right and go to school in Ajegunle. Later my mom died when i was 9 years old and my grand mom took over alone. She sold dry fish in Bandry Ajegunle, she couldn't keep up with money, so i dropped out of secondary school. But now look at me now.. in USA, Multiples houses in Naija and USA, Petrol station. I bought the house of the landlord that drove us out on quit notice from Ajegunle and my fathers house too. I'm not stopping, I'm not backing out..i just want to say thanks to the people who gave me a life, free food and above all wise advice. Olamide we need to work together, I saw you in Gbagada but you busy so i didn't stop in my Hummer. Peace bro.
