i had an amazing comeback moment once. this guy bullied me for years. called me freak like it was my name. so i started calling him by the slightly wrong name. like his name started with a j, i started calling him by other j names. it was an almost daily exchange because our lockers were next to eachother. 'hey freak' 'hey john/jake/jacob/jouque costow' until one day he snapped at me. 'we've been going to school together since second grade. you know my name!' and i smiled an said 'oh? than you think you'd know mine.' it was the greatest! he made this 'oh' face. it was so satisfying. not long after he started calling me by my actual name again.
