I was nine years old in 1961 when my father and I rode the train from El Paso to New Orleans, overnighting here before continuing the next morning to Shreveport, arriving in NOLA shortly before dark. It was a big deal to me at the time. I'd like to see the place again.

It’s residential (condominiums) and the train station. A bar & grill is located on the 1st floor, along with a banquet venue that can be rented for events.
