In this, (Third KZbin Episode) its all about flying the drone to capture stunning images and footage of Lake Eucumbene at Old Adaminaby.
Why is it called Old Adaminaby? The Township of Adaminaby was literally picked up and moved to its new location some 9km away in 1956 & 1957 to make way for the filling of this gigantic lake which was (and is) the largest storage lake that makes up the Snowy Mountains Hydro Elecrtric Scheme.
Now having been moved from one side of 'The Great Dividing Range' to the other the town of Adaminaby sits at 1017m above sea level compared to small hamlet of Old Adaminaby being at, and above approximately 1250m.
How many locations on Lake Eucumbene can you name as you watch this 4 minute video?
The video was shot on a few different days during April and May 2024.
