I belong to a training organization called Casualties Union. We have to do injury simulations for all sorts of medical and rescue training. Recently we were asked to age a 20 year old to simulate an 80 year old who had fallen breaking her hip. I applied your techniques and was impressed with the result - as were the doctors being trained that day ! Thank you.

Amazing skills, you make it look so easy, have done make up for one production & it was great fun. Would be intrigued to see how easy it is to do the opposite of what you did in this video & make someone look younger. Am guessing that would be more challenging though. 😊

The same theories apply, however if you add highlights to a wrinkle it most likely will just draw attention to it. But lightening circles under the eyes does work for example.

I don't understand how this works at all, I just looked young with brown make up on. I couldn't get the crows feet to work, I either had harsh stripes or brown makeup by the side of my eyes, and after trying it a few times my eyes looked red raw. How do you make it look so easy to achieve? I have to look old on-stage in four days time and I'm despairing, the make up I'm doing just looks ridiculous. 😭😭😭
@GwynethPricePanos2 жыл бұрын
Just like any art, it does take practice. How large is your theater space? How old do you need to look? You might not need to do very much. The wig and acting/physicality can make a big difference.
