Telangana is one of the 29 states in India, located in southern India. Formed in June 2014 as the youngest state in India, from the northwestern part of the Joint State of Andhra Pradesh. Telangana had a history as the Telugu-speaking region of the princely state of Hyderabad, ruled by the Nizam of Hyderabad.[5] It joined the Union of India in 1948. In 1956, the Hyderabad state was dissolved as part of the linguistic reorganisation of states and Telangana was merged with former Andhra State to form Andhra Pradesh. Following a movement for separation, Telangana was awarded separate statehood on 2 June 2014. Hyderabad will continue to serve as the joint capital city for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for no more than ten years.

All pics belong to Hyderabad State. The video title should have been Old pictures of Hyderabad bcoz telangana never existed before 2014. It was Andhra pradesh prior it was Hyderabad State.

Dear Mr Khan Askm " Telangana c is existed since the period of Kakateeya kings. It continued during Bahamanis, Qutub Shahis and later during Nizams Ruling period also. After formation of Andhra Pradesh , the word Is Telangana and this Region was greatly neglected.But it must be noted that Andhra Rulers as well as Andhra people have developed Tekangana Region to great extent. Due to this wonderful reason every person living in and around Hyderabad city are earning their livelihood and living happily. We must be thankful to hard working Andhra Rulers for their effort in the matter. Alhamdulillah fortunately again our Telangana state is formed which area was once part of " Asaf Jahi kingdom " ( Nizam's ). By 2050 , lot of political changes will take place In Shaa Allah. However , I agree with you that the title of the Video must be " Rare photos of Nizam's Era Hyderabad ". All the best and Regards
