Old Boat Bedroom Reno - My Crusty Chris Craft Liveaboard Cabin Gets A Makeover

Finished up the bedroom / cabin in the liveaboard boat! Pretty comfortable now and looking good! Still a few things to do but overall the quick reno went well. Easy as pie!
Painted the dresser in Hague Blue from Farrow and Ball. Walls are just plain old white. Found a nice warm, vintage wool Hudson's Bay blanket.
Pretty cozy now.

What a gorgeous piece of boating history. It is amazing that you are bringing this treasure back to life! You can’t beat an old Chris Craft. I currently have a 1964 Thompson that is made of wood. There is nothing better than an old wooden boat. I’m enjoying the content on your channel!

Wow! What a transformation, I mean the difference is amazing! You did a lot of work to get that cabin looking pretty sweet. How did you get two twin mattresses at such a low price? All kinds of surprises in this video! Awesome! Inventive videography with your great sneak up on you humor! Love it! Did you trim the bottom of the door off to make it fit with the new floor padding? Great idea BTW! All that work made a huge difference! Crisp and clean look now! Is the deck top side still holding it's own after all the work you did there? Mountains are calling me too but not as big as yours. The Appalachians are getting ready for their color change soon in October. Then deer season bow and rifle in Thanksgiving.

Yes, you always have to have something there so you can reach the hatch and wiggle your way out.👍

You said you didn't want to sand through the "veneer". Alert! Chris Craft only used Solid Philippine Mahogany, never veneer. Kinda sad you painted over wood you can't even buy anymore.
