Tonight let's relax to the sounds of antiques books, thunderstorm and gentle rain. This is a simple, yet very cozy ambience video, that includes page turning (at various paces), unintelligible whispers / reading (French & English), crinkles, writing, page flipping, rain sounds & distant thunderstorm. Anecdote : many of these books belonged to my great grandmother and are more than 110 years old.

It's comforting to see that I'm not the only person who treasures old books, especially those printed prior to 1900. I actually read them as well as collect them and, in contrast, have no interest in reading contemporary literature. I also keep a chapel, or prayer room, in my home where I pray and meditate. I love these connections with the past. I'd appreciate if one of the ASMR video creators would record one from a chapel/prayer room. It could be so amazing.
