Itll also send opponent owned permanents as provided by the likes of Jon Irenicus or Zedruu back to their owners’ board. This could be devastating especially if you nuke their commander with a swords/path at the same time.

I remember when this card was 8 bucks or so. I was going to say that Eerie Interlude is just better than this but now that one is up to almost 5 bucks so this is actually cheaper. Oh how the times change

Yes to all this... Thanks for the comment! I was playing Standard when Eerie Interlude was printed and I'm pretty sure I consigned it to my bulk rare box in both my closet and mind. Funny how we deem certain cards unplayable for whatever reason, then forget about them, only to realize how great they are in a Commander deck.
