When I was younger I thought the original live action Casper movie WAS the only Casper thing to exist. I had no idea he was a cartoon and no idea there were others movies. Based on my perception and memories of it from then, yes, a 90 minute movie is just the right amount of Casper. I was endeared by it, but I wasn't asking for more.

There is a Casper Christmas special that has a similar animation style... throughout the entire movie. No live action at all, and it is something that might gives you nightmares.
