Under 300K... good night!!! And with interest at 7%! What universe is this? That house is tiny, old and ratty. It should be a under 50 K house.

Thanks for your comment. Yeah, I agree with you prices are very high and affordability is becoming a big issue. This is also why there is a push to make tiny homes, and 3D printed homes. I don't think we are too far out from these becoming more of the norm.

@@localutahrealtyIt's tiny. It has no character. Its layout is extremely awkward. It needs a new roof and electrical work. It has little to no curb appeal. It should be listed for no more than $125,000. This market is absolutely ridiculous.

First of all if you want a house bought. Mow the lawn. They must have put that price down for a joke right?. It's not even worth 75. Who in their right mind would spend that kind of money when there's so much to be done.

Are you seriously bragging about the price of this house? Shouldn’t be over $50K
@localutahrealty Жыл бұрын
Perhaps $50 k 20 years ago. Cost of labor and goods have greatly risen the last 10 years and so has the affordability of homes.

I don’t know. In the fifties my family lived in a house similar to and bigger than this although without a basement for rent of $75 a month. I realize that was a long time ago and that it wasn’t in Utah, but the refrigerator was in the kitchen…and the bathroom wasn’t. I feel so sorry for young folks nowadays.

Yeah, I think as the market becomes more expensive, more buyers are having to compromise with what they are ok with as far as a house goes. The biggest determinate of cost though is 100% rates. When rates do drop a couple of percentage points, then prices are going to explode again as we are still probably 50,000-60,000 units short here in Utah.

Seriously? Pingree? That price? With that much work to be done? Just wow!

It needs a fireplace. A cute little place, but needs a ton of work. Wonder if it had hardwood floors, and if so, why they're covered up. Would also check for mold.
@localutahrealty Жыл бұрын
Yes, hardwood floors were often covered with carpet. Thankfully this is one thing my generation can't be blamed for. Lol :)

they are asking 276 and they won't come down any more on it. Do a bid of 275.000 and you'll get it. The facade can be redone with a minimal cost so that you'll heva 3 the same windows. That red stairs must be redone. The driveway can be relayed in a natural stone the fence can be redone in wood. Foresee 20000USD to overhaul that and to put at the same time inside a double french door with glass. Nice housy with potential and not too costly. Don't forget the AM flag ....

This home ended up with multiple offers and went under contract within a week of being listed. Multiple offers tend to indicate pricing is fair or under value for the area hence the willingness of buyers to push the price higher to "win" the home.

@@localutahrealtyor multiple offers means that people are desperate and Utah is in a giant population boom…

@llee2096 Utah isn't for everyone, and that's OK. We've personally seen tremendous wealth accumulated through real estate investment here in Utah. Truth is, you'll largely find what you tend to focus on and look for in the world 🌎.

Utah housing is a joke! No offense to Jordan showing the house. I understand that is what is asking price now, but i think people are crazy about buying these old homes for 300 k. Some are 500k, and no garage needs updates. Very sad, this is what Utah has come to. I see why people want to live in cars.
