For the last 5 years I’ve been caring for my husband who had a. Accident in work now in wheelchair I’ve not bothered about myself very much. As long as I look after him. We’re both 60 now. ) I stumbled on your channel and you’ve given me inspiration to take care of myself to I’ve sorted through my wardrobe sorted what I need and bagged up what I don’t. And bought few more clothes, it was my birthday last week. So we went for a meal. First time since January 2020. Our grandson said to me. Nan you look amazing. My clothes rod broke two days ago. I've been putting off going through my clothes as many no longer fit, etc. But now, I'm actually excited to see what outfits I can make out of what DOES still fit me! I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before. I used to do this when I was young, but I guess I've just gotten lackadaisical about my "style" as I've gotten older. I have only recently subscribed to your channel. You present a very different take on fashion, health, beauty and a smattering of other topics. Such a refreshing change from the young presenters with perfect wrinkle free skin and a beautiful figure. I can relate much more to your style. Also, I live a very similar lifestyle to you, inasmuch as I usually spend around six months of the year in Australia and six in England. Your so inspirational for us mature girls- I used to wear patchwork clothes all the time and seeing your blue top has made me look at my material stocks and get sewing. Just a thought for your pond/natural pool in the garden - have you see the adverts for swimming straps- attach to a secure pole and put it around your waist and you can swing in a small space.

My whole closet is by outfits. Makes it easy to get dress in the morning. I also have all the white blouse, the blue blouse, etc…hung together this way if I choose to wear my skirts or pants two days in a row and can easily switch up the tops for a matching color or what suits my mood that day. We often get calls from our travel agent for last minute cruises…..so what I am the most proud of…is how my casual travel clothes are pack in packing cubes ready to go and all I need to add to my suitcase are elegant but still very casual dresses or pants for nighttime dining. Fortunately for me we travel when it’s winter in Canada and we travel to sun destinations so I can’t wear my pack summer clothing. It’s my secret! My husband can’t get over how fast I can pack and how I can fit everything in a carry on! I will admit it took years of planning and buying the right clothing. 😌❤️🌹
