Yeah I don't think so. People enjoy seeing Mario and Meggy have sibling like interactions so I think for now, Mario and Meggy will just remain best friends. But at the same time, when the brother and sister relationship gage thing gets too old, SMG4 can easily switch things up. So it's all up to SMG4 on Mario and Meggys relationship

Daisy is basically ever MxM shipper in a nutshell. Sad that SMG4 still refuses to use it. And even worse that Meggy is getting less and less appearances (I don't count Leggy in). After "Happy Little Roadtrip" and "Western Spaghetti", the Mario x Meggy vibes are beginning to go down, and I have ended up spending more time on fan animations as well as my stop motion series, Utoypia Crossovers (which has many Mario x Meggy moments). I know I am biased because Meggy's my favorite, and I know many people are fed up that she got multiple arcs and a spin off show about herself while none of the others got one, but if they put Meggy in the same place Saiko and Melony are today, I'm unsubscribing.
