Not sure if you noticed but around 12:00 when Stu brings the flute out the melody is a callback to Trapdoor.

7:43 Notice this section is a callback to the refrain from Cellophane. During live shows they can use this as a bridge to go directly into that song. You will start to notice that they write a lot of material deliberately in this manner, which gives them branching points to go all over the place when performing.

This one’s so fun! You can hear the suite begin with People Vultures, but if you sync it all up in a playlist, you can have Murder if the Universe and Nonagon Infinity transition seamlessly in and out of one another, making it so Nonagon is now a closed loop with a beginning and end, hence the references between albums!

6:40 if you want to see something insane i highly recommend watching the han-tyumi suite live in chicago 2024, definitely best version

You are going to be very very impressed by all of their music videos from here on out. The music is so tasteful and complex, the videos are so creative (maybe not crumbling castle but oh well) I’m just worried you’re going to miss Gumboot soup!

Yo, I hate to be complicated but if you feel like buying the vinyl for this album you get a booklet with all the lyrics and voice over written down in a bunch of artwork. It goes into han-tyumi and the murder of the of universe It goes into the Lord of lightning versus the Bellrog It's tied into robot stop and how nonagon Infinity opens the door

you’ve so far listened to 2/3 of their album murder of the universe. sadly the first part of the album doesn’t have a music video like lord of lightning or han-tyumi does

It's also my personal favorite 1/3. The KEXP performance of that section is amazing.
