It's kinda hilarious that as soon as the game reveals itself to have this deeper story involving space and hostile aliens Sifd immediately dismisses it because all he wants out of the game is how to, more efficiently, turn a crank.

For the bots, you have 15 that are active and 15 that are on your reserve. You could theoretically destroy 15 bots then slowly rebuild the reserve of 15 bots. Also upgrade battery to unlock solar panels for you super boost.Abuse the upgrades on the FBRC tab have like 200 scrap metal queued will give you much more time to do other things and it also means less babysitting your production

I found that 10 active bots are all you ever need. The manual destroying mechanic (or the metric showing the damaged bots) seems to be bugged in some way, since if you have fewer active bots than total bots, it doesn't seem to actually destroy damaged ones. Degrading quality doesn't seem to really impact the bots' effectiveness enough for it to matter so you can just naturally let them die.

@@arkdirfe After playing myself for the last 18 hours basically, I periodically destroyed all my bots so I can craft more bots and increase the Crankbot speed so I can level up the duranium fabricators level, I'm currently in the space exploration stage trying to discover efficient methods to unlock more parts of the lore in the decryptor

@@TheCannyCat I found that the best (and only) real way of getting all the decryptions without leaving the game idle for ages is the following: Use the 32x research boost to get anti-matter production (faster jumps and more research boost) and solar panel efficiency up to unreasonable levels, then sit yourself down in a high solar sector. Auto-boost your scrap production as high as your power consumption allows and use the scrap to upgrade CPU speed. Lock in the decrypter research and hit the boost on auto. Max out the decrypter power as it's upgraded. Decryptions 1-10 are okay, but after that they get really slow, which is why I employed this strategy.

Little spoiler for you Sifd if you upgrade the order limit ( how much units needs to crafted before it stops ) after 45 it became inf and you dont need to care after that

I decided to play it thinking it was a play along type video, was not but still now I have some notes. Dying (which only happens if you forget to pay attention to your power really) doesn't end your playthrough it just removes ALL of your current resources. Something you can actually get back within a few minutes if you have enough upgrades. It does really become automated except you get to visit all the other planets in the system and that is very much manual. I enjoyed it, great free game. It also does have an end but its several hours at a minimum. The game also definitely has a definitive end.

you needed to upgrade the slider for production queuing to max which it maxes out after 50 for scrap. unlocks infinity queuing. I unlocked that literally an hour into watching your video.

Just a warning. I've seen no evidence that upgrading scanner power does anything useful. The only thing it seems to do is find already generated encounters faster.
