This place has been overdue for a while. I went to Old Delhi to cover the most famous Mughlai Restaurant Named Karim Hotel. This place is over 108 Years old. I also have a very special guest on our channel Name Mohammad Yahya from Globalecentre. He is the most humble and down to earth personality. His knowledge of Old Delhi and its food offering is commendable. I had the honor to meet and greet the owner of Karim Hotel. We ordered for many nonveg delicacies. To name a few Mutton Seekh, Nahari, Stew, Qorma Etc. It is not possible to reach at the destination in your own 4 wheeler. It is best to take a metro and drop at Chawar Bazaar and from there take a rickshaw who would charge Rs. 10. The closest landmark is the gate No. 1 of Jama Masjid. I had the most outstanding experience as the hospitality and the cordial nature of staff and obviously Yahya’s food introduction made it a very day. Check out our reaction to the iconic Karim Hotel

50 years earlier I used to go often to this shop. It was a KHOKHA. broken benches, tilted & shaking tables, but the food was excellent. 2 persons could have 2 non veg. dishes & rotees in 10-15 rupees. Owner was an old man with very sweet & cultured manners

My genuine comment is ke 2008 main main ne inka khana khana band kar diya tha..inhone mujhe plan rice main rosted chicken serv kiya aur naam tha briyani.saalo ko khub sunai thi main ne sorry for use this language but real main bhot mazaak bana diya tha food ka.tab se main ne karim jaana band kar diya hai.aljawahar is best then karim sirf naam hi naam hai karim ka food quality is poor.

Karim's the best. I have been visiting since 1990. Purane din yaad aa gaye jab apney bhai key saath her hafte 4 din jaatey they. No comments on food. It's very good. Good to see you both on this video. I tasted all the items of Karim's all are unique and having mukhtalif zaika. Best combination of seekh kebab is rumali roti, best combination of korma with khamiri roti and specially with green chutney. Mutton Burra galawat to theek hai magar there is little bit tangy taste in it, it goes with tomato slices and chutney. Lot of words I can use for Karim's food but in nut shell it is flavoured food thats why we can not differenciate it. Karim's Biryani is always a disappointment. 👍
