What Up Peeps,
So for one vlog I am giving a break to UP vlogs and I covered a place in Darya Ganj called Smile Darbar. I heard good things about their Mughalai Food. The owner and his Son were very cordial and welcoming. I ordered their Specialties like Mutton Raan Mandi, Dum Biryani, Lahori Chicken and Afghani Gravy with Chicken Lollipop. I also ordered for their Tandoori Chai which was absolut blast. Parking is a bit of crunch as the place is located in a crowded area however reaching here is total worth it. I was most excited for Mutton Raan as it is considered a lavish and a tasty meal. They have a proper seating area for families to gather and enjoy their meal. Check out my reaction to this lovely place.

Pehli baat- this is what I call a hidden gem. I am very frequent at jama masjid but never seen this joint probably because it is onn Asaf Ali Road. I am coming here this week. 👍 Dusri baat- yaar itna laalach theek nahin Shoaib bhai. It is the subscribers who have made you. Great Yaar ShoAro Daryaganj is my favorite place, born, raised and studied....Ramjas School, Daryaganj. But whatever these guys do is great, but only I want to tell you that in Lahore, they don't make Chicken like this. I've been to Lahore four times, as I said before, but in India I can't understand why these Restaurant proprietors keep associating Pakistani cities with the food whilst on other hand they are completely clueless about actual food from Lahore or Afghanistan. Nowhere in Afghanistan you can find the Afghani Chicken as sold in India. It's simply has nothing to do with Afghanistan as I've seen on my two visits to Afghanistan. Well, as I said before, while working with USAID & World Bank, I've traveled all over these places including every country in Central Asia. But this ain't right. Indians dishes should stay Indian, and not to be associated with Lahore or Afghanistan or any other place. This is completely wrong. It's all about fooling people in India wherein most (99.9%) have never even traveled to either Pakistan or Afghanistan.
