I did not know there are lots of foreigner who decided to live in the Philippines for good until COVID 19 hit and I got stuck at home watching KZbin. I am Filipino living in USA . We Filipinos are very hospitable , kind , honest and hard working , but you know sometimes you get into rotten one which is true in every nationality , but don’t give up somewhere out there you will find a good one , take your time.

I've done alot of working and travelling abroad and felt alot more freedom than i do in blighty. The red tape in the states is probably on a par. Thats why single western men love places like the phillippines. Its a throwback in time to a simpler life and i guess the lady in your life less complicated.

I found my wife online. I got lucky. Knew her over two years. Finally got the opportunity to take a month off and get married. Guys, you have to be there three weeks by law to marry. You have to have a letter saying you're single from the embassy in Cebu (or Manila). You have to schedule and attend a seminar. It's not like in the US. Neither are these women. They treat their man well. They are old fashioned. They have been raised to treat their husbands well. If you want a good wife, go to the Philippines. Great channel Paul. I am curious how you are able to live there on a permanent basis. I left there when Subic closed. In fact I was on the very last flight of military personnel to leave. We had to fly from Manila on Hawaiian Air Lines because Clark had long since been closed. I enjoy your videos and love the Philjppines. Your candor and humor are quite refreshing. Paul, thank you for this video. I'm actually interested in hearing what brings Americans to the Philippines. For me growing up and living in Hawaii I've been surrounded by Filipinos my entire life. All of my friends were Filipino and every girl I liked was Filipino. I've been traveling to the Philippines for vacation every year since 2005 and I just feels natural to move there once I retire. With that, you can incorporate anything that Mae ( who will take over your channel soon!) does on a daily basis. Plus with Baby Mae. you already have a great hook. Continued success.

I can only speak for myself, obviously, I prefer and enjoy these "reality" tv videos, Paul. No hype, no extravagant over the top nonsense, and humor as if hanging out with an old dog err friend, lol. I got hooked on the Philipines KZbin thing from not sure if you know of him, a channel called SoYummyKaya about a decade ago. There are others of course, but this is what I watch, real people, going about their every day whatever it is. You, Sir, are awesome in that regard. My Idea for Baby Mae's channel name either, Baby Mae's life in the Philipines, or Dumaguete. ;)~
