One of my favourite tabletops. Only started tabletop gaming almost two years ago with Warhammer and was introduced to Conquest by a mate and got straight into the City States the models and lore are epic. Watching your videos helps me see how other teams play and their abilities as there is not many people other than a few mates who play in my area and the energy you bring to each video is amazing keep it up.

Love seeing some more Conquest! Absolutely gorgeous paintjobs on both armies. Few things: Xhiliarcs Supremacy only works on his Warband, not the whole army. You can't heal when broken, so i think those Drones led by the Biomancer could not have healed as much during the game. I don't know if it was skipped over, but you also take resolve in duels, so that Biomancer could have died from the duel. Characters also get the regiments MoO, so the Xhiliarc would be minimum Cleave 2 Keep up the great vids!

I'm making notes while I watch for both the PlayOn crew and anyone learning from the video. 2:40 Clarification: OD player has only 4 Mediums (Legionnaires 2x, Kataphraktoi 1x, Athanatoi 1x) for round 2 and rolled 4 times. It looks like he rolled the 3 dice, assumed and automatic reinforcement, and then chose the failed reinforcement roll to be the automatic success and rolled the previously set aside die. On Pg 21 of the core rulebook, it clarifies that you set a die aside as an automatic pass and then roll the remaining dice, as opposed to rolling all of your dice and then picking a fail to become an automatic success. You see it again on the Spires player as well when rolling for their last 2 units. 15:20 Missed HCE Cleave on the duel and miscounted the Flawless Strikes. You see the same thing at 16:41 The Cleave+Flawless Strikes vs Defense+Shield doesn't look like it is well understood. One die hits on 2 and 1 on 1 for the HCE. That makes 1 Flawless Strike and 1 normal hit. The normal hit is Defense(2)+Shield(1)+Cleave(-1)=2. The Flawless Strike is Defense(0)+Shield(1)+Cleave(-1) OR Evasion(1). During this same Die Fighting action you see the Spire player reroll misses during a duel. I assume he thinks that is from the Assault Preceptor? The Preceptor does not benefit the character, only his own stand. Turn 4: The Biomancer can Harvest Essence the FGD's and Centaurs with absolutely no drawback or risk. I also didn't see the HCE use any of his tactical abilities or even have one listed in the army list. It looks like maybe the Spires player wasn't particularly familiar with the caster characters? In a circumstance like that, a little reminder chatter disguised as an explanation for the viewer might be a good idea. 18:24 You see the character in the middle of the regiment, which should be the command stand. My guess is that this is from misunderstanding what a command stand is, just like with the Assault Preceptor and HCE example above. 19:12 It looks like the Lethal Demise dice are also miscounted. The drone that runs away from the failed Resolve check doesn't contribute a die to the Lethal Demise. 21:15 The impact hits should have included the rear rank of Avatara as well. Pg 36 24:38 Varangian's should have saved a hit. Defense(3)+Brutal Impact(-2)+Hardened(1)=2. 27:07 Mastery of Flesh Regeneration is missed by the Spires player. Also, the inspiration is missed for the extra 3 hits. 28:01 Again, no Biomancies used. Catalytic Rupture? Deadly Blades? Unstable Enhancement? 28:41 Flurry might have been missed, we can't see because of the cut, but given the other missed interactions by Brent, it would be worth checking. It also occurs to me that the leader +1 Clash/Volley dice have been missed the whole time. 30:00 The Legionnaires haven't activated yet this turn to gain the Memories of Old Draw Event, it should have only been 1 save instead of 4. 32:10 Illegal charge. You can only pass through your own regiments when they are unengaged. The Bone Golem is still engaged with the FGD's. He can't even charge the front arc because he has 3 stands in the flank and only 2 stands in the front arc. The Varagians are mired and can't contribute anything at this time in the battle. 35:43 I'm not certain when this was recorded, but Aura of Death does not trigger resolve. pg 96 If this is playing on an old set of rules, then there are counting issues instead. 3 failed rolls=3 Defense+1 bonus for the single 6 that was rolled. 36:29 Marksmen are currently Volley 2+1 for Take Aim. 38:45 Missed the resolve checks from the Duel. 40:45 Missed Lethal Demise. 42:38 Incorrect. The Lethal Demise special rule from at least the 1.5 rules and onward has specified that only enemy actions generate Lethal Demise hits and only to the regiment that performed the action. So even if you have 2 enemy regiments touching your FGD's, Baddie Regiment 1 punching the FGD's doesn't generate Lethal Demise for Baddie Regiment 2. Pg 99 Admittedly, in the very earliest of days (and my dreams) any wounds the Lethal Demise regiment takes would generate wounds to any enemy regiments in contact. 43:18 FGD's are broken. I would recommend the experienced guide have a copy of the opponent's list so they can help assist in some of these missed triggers. When running demos and teaching you need to know both lists inside and out. I certainly to see you guys make a couple of easy adjustments and continue making content for the game. I just know that a huge amount of people learn from videos instead of reading the rules, and so I think that something public like this for reference would be important for clarification of missed/misremembered rules. If I misremembered, please let me know so I can edit the comment and we can make the corrections as accurate as possible.
