Did you have to buy a special doorknob since it's a thicker door with the added wood? Looks great you guys!

Thanks! Great question! Our door was about 1 1/2" thick. The new wood slats added about 1/4" for a total of 1 3/4". So we found this door handle that would work: amzn.to/3G92Fj1
