Has anyone considered that Ornstein in Dark Souls 1 is just an illusion. This may be the real deal.

Spoil If I remember correctly, it is indeed an illusion, created by Gwyndolin :)

This one is a copycat or illusion as well. The real Ornstein died in a battle against Faraam, the ‘Nameless’ king.

@@rolotomassi8767 Unconfirmed either way but since this is an optional boss it could be Ornstein before he departs to find the nameless king. Makes sense the real deal would be in Heide since Gwynevere left Anor Londo to marry Flann the _Flame_ god and he was sworn to guard her.

I’d rather think that Ornstein made it all the way to the final cycle, chilling with the dragons he had previously hunted, than to die in some bum ass church in the middle of nowhere for no reason lmao
